Donate to help Isabel and her family

Dear friends this fundraiser is to help out my sister, who is going thru a hard time with her family. After years of being in remission with her Dermatomyositis, she has recently relapsed. As she fights to stay well, she is also going thru a divorce and is also fighting for sole physical and legal custody of her kids. Overnight she became a single parent and currently does not have the other parent's support.

Many of you know her as my little sister, funny and crazy. But she is also a survivor of domestic violence. Recently her ex-husband's abuse turned to the kids, who now require weekly therapy. Her kids, 10 and 13, have experienced trauma and constant stress due to the abuse they witnessed for years, and now, unfortunately, they are victims, as well. As with any kids, they require care from their mom and with her son in baseball and soccer, she has had to quit her second job to help support him in his sports. She has yet to receive child support, and with bills mounting due to her medical treatments and diagnosis, she may have to make the tough decision to take her son out of both sports. Something she doesn't want to do this because not only does he love to play, but this is when he is happiest.

She needs financial help to buy groceries, help pay bills so that she doesn't fall behind, and especially to help buy the kids new clothes because her ex-husband refuses to give her any of the kid's things.

Please help me give my sister a little peace of mind as she continues to fight for her family and stay well.
