Hello, my name is Emma and I’m a dance artist based in London.

I am, like many, horrified by the atrocities being committed in Gaza and have found that speaking directly with families to be a way that feels one of many useful ways to engage with what’s happening. I am fortunate enough to know the incredible Hamza and his family who have been displaced into a tent in Khan Yunis.

I would like to help and support Hamza with this campaign. We have had video calls and we talk most days. He has shown me the dire situation they are in, so please do consider reading further: so many people desperately need our help. I also urge you to engage with DM’s from people who reach out. Please do not ignore them. they need us.

Hamza completed his university studies in veterinary medicine, but the harsh conditions prevented him from achieving his ambitions or building his future.

He is a young man with big dreams and ambitions, looking for an opportunity to rebuild his life.

Hamza is kind-hearted and used to express his thoughts and feelings through poetry.

Sadly, Hamza and his family have lost everything.

I am in daily contact with Hamza, and the situation is getting worse by the day.

Even the smallest donation can change everything!

I want to help him and his family use the donations to provide food, rebuild a home, and give him a new chance at a dignified life.

The funds raised will directly go into Hamza and his family's bank accounts: he has sent his details through to me so there will be no middle person: I transfer the funds directly to his bank account.
