Hi! My name is EJ Launio, and my aim is to raise some money to help feed and purchase everyday necessities such as backpacks, school supplies and slippers for the kids living in the small community my widowed grandmother raised her 9 children in and the families that live on the outskirts of my late grandfathers’ farm.
Millions of children in the Philippines face daily challenges of hunger and malnutrition, and many of them go to bed without enough to eat. The struggle to access nutritious meals is a harsh reality for these kids, but with your help, we can make a difference one community at a time.
Your generous donation will directly fund a food program to deliver nourishing meals hoping to make a lasting impact on these children.
The photos attached are glimpses of some of the outreach efforts my family and I have done in the past. Although they may have been small programs that simply provided kids with food and goodie bags, the smiles and appreciation seen in their eyes left us knowing we have made a great impact.
To put things into perspective
$1 Canadian dollar is equivalent to 40 Philippine Pesos.
It takes about 200 pesos to feed a child in the Philippines 3 substantial meals a day.
$5 can provide 1 child breakfast lunch and dinner. Let that sink in.
No matter the size of your donation, you can make a lasting impact on these children and their families.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for all of your kind donations,
EJ
