Hi, my name is Juliet Davis. I am fundraising for an annual Charity Donation Event for Westhaven Disabled Children's Home in St James, Jamaica. They require assistance with clothes, continence pads, wipes, toilet rolls, toiletries etc. These children and young people need our help. I spent many years donating to UK charities who already have so much in comparison, but now its time to share that generosity, put something back into our roots and give a helping hand to those in need. I have selected this home as I have personally visited and met the children. They don't have access to funds and Government assistance like we do in the UK/USA so support from the general public is important. Regular donations are welcome and can be set up on this site. The staff and volunteers do a wonderful job and it takes a big heart of hope and kindness to give their time and efforts to these children. Let's get together and raise their standard of life and put a smile on their faces. As well as physical donations, I would like to support fun days and events on the premises and the go fund me page will be updated with progress on all supported events. The intention is to one day, expand this support to other Disabled Children's Homes here in Jamaica. Lets give back some of the efforts that the Windrush generations sacrificed for us to be more fortunate. These kids deserve to be happy.
