I’m Alexander Pursglove, 17 years old, and I’ve been volunteering with Disability Skiing Wales since I was 11.
On October 4th, I’ll be taking on my first triathlon in Llandudno to raise much-needed funds for this life-changing charity.
Skiing isn’t a luxury for everyone — for some, it’s a final memory. One teenager came for a single session and sadly passed away just months later. That one day gave them joy, freedom, and a moment they and their family could treasure forever.
I’m doing this for Disability skiing wales and all those who deserve that same chance.
Please support me in helping Disability Skiing Wales create more powerful, lasting memories.
Every donation truly matters.
Disability Ski Wales is a charity that helps people with disabilities enjoy skiing by providing special equipment and support tailored to their needs. It relies on funding to maintain and buy adaptive ski gear, ensuring everyone can safely experience the thrill of skiing, often for the first time. These opportunities benefit people physically by improving strength and coordination, while also boosting mental well-being by building confidence, Independence, friendships, and a sense of freedom on the slopes.
