Hi Everyone,

As many of you know, our dad passed away suddenly last week.

To the world, he was DA, The Hawk, Chuck, Fred, or the Man of Mystery. To us, he was dad. He gave us huge amounts of love, laughter, and unwavering support. All of you wonderful people who undoubtably miss him too, we consider family. He had an amazing way of turning friends into family, and if you're reading this, you're part of the community he helped build and cherished so deeply.

He was kind, generous, and thoughtful to the core. He worked hard and created a joyful, love filled world for the people around him. He gave his time, energy, and heart to others without hesitation, and the impact he made on so many lives is something we’ll carry forward.

Many of you have asked how you can help support Tracy, Abbie, Allison, and me during this time. While our dad gave us so much in life, he left this world leaving behind some financial uncertainty. There are a number of expenses we are navigating as a family - funeral arrangements, a reliable vehicle for Tracy, additional financial support for Tracy and, most importantly, a celebration of life worthy of the man we all loved. We’re putting this fund together to help ease the burden of some of these expenses and to give him the beautiful sendoff he deserves.

We're aiming to hold a big wake or celebration of life in the next month or two. As soon as we have the details, we’ll share them via Facebook, phone, text, smoke signal, or good vibes rocketing through the stratosphere, whichever way finds you fastest.

We love you all, just as he did.
