Donate to help Che get to the Philippines

Hello friends and family..

My name is Kris Miclat, and if there’s anything you know about me it is how much I love my son Che. As a single mom, multiple health setbacks in the past year have resulted in reduced income and increased medical bills. Essentially, last year was hell.. but Che and I got through it together and we have our sights set on the future.

Che has been selected to be one of 12 Filipino-American High School Basketball players to travel to Manila, Philippines to compete in the prestigious, invite-only NBTC Manila Live tournament on March 18-24. This tournament has been running for 14 years strong, and it’s the largest Filipino basketball tournament in the World. It will bring in teams from USA, Canada, Australia, Europe, New Zealand and the Middle East.

I cannot let him miss this opportunity to represent his love for basketball and the San Diego Filipino-American community, and the chance to embrace his roots.

All donations will go towards tournament/coach fees, transportation, hotel, and other travel costs.
