donate to help build schools in Malawi, Africa

Hello my name is Oliver Aerts and I'm an Explorer Scout in need of your help.

At the moment I am fundraising to help a charity called Joshua, build schools and community buildings in villages in the more remote parts of Africa. We will be going to Malawi where we will spend 3 weeks in a small village helping some local builders and the community with their efforts to build a community Centre/School. In addition to this we will also be doing other things like repairs and painting of existing buildings. One suggestion we have already had is for us to paint the periodic table.

The Joshua orphan and community care project tries to support these smaller communities to give the younger generation the best possible start in life.

From this trip I hope to both help out the community and get an idea of how different life is for them compared to ourselves.

I hope you will consider donating towards this venture as it will all go towards a good cause.

all together the Scouts are hoping to raise over £30,000 pounds and any additional funds will be donated to the Joshua charity.

We will be going in the summer of 2024.
