My name is Lisa and I’m starting a go fund me on behalf of my Mum (also known as Biggi) who is currently battling a rare cancer in her bile duct.

Mum has worked as a nurse for over 25 years and has always put the needs of others before hers. Unfortunately since being diagnosed at the beginning of October, she has not been able to work to financially support herself.

The reason I have started this go fund me page is to help financially, and reduce the great amount of stress that this has caused. Mum lives by herself and even with Centrelink payments it isn’t enough to cover what she needs to pay on a weekly basis.

Her life has drastically changed these past few weeks, and as much as she hates to ask for financial support she could really use the help. Easing the financial burden allows her to focus on her upcoming surgery, recovery and future treatments.

She is the most amazing Mum, Mother in law and Grandma (or Omi as her grandkids call her). And means the absolute world to us.
