Help Me Bring Smiles and Comfort to Children in Madagascar!

Hi, I’m Aubrey, and I’m excited to share that I’ll be joining Operation Smile on a life-changing mission to Madagascar, where I’ll be working with children undergoing surgeries for cleft lips and palates. While I won’t be part of the medical team, my role is just as important in supporting these incredible kids throughout their journey.

I’ll be spending time with the children before and after their surgeries, offering emotional support to help them feel calm and comfortable. Surgery can be overwhelming, and I’ll be there to ease their anxiety, provide reassurance, and be a friendly face in what could otherwise be a very scary experience.

In addition to emotional care, I’ll also be leading hygiene education programs, teaching the kids essential habits like brushing their teeth and washing their hands. These simple practices can significantly improve their long-term health and well-being, and I’m excited to help empower them with this knowledge.
