Update‼️ March 27, 2025 I completed my Manicurist Program and Graduation is May 24th‼️ Both my Daughter and I will be graduating Cosmetology School‼️ We stayed the course. The journey hasn’t been easy but we made it. We have less than 30 days left on this room so we still need your donations to help us get a place to live and we’ll be able to work from home. If you’re here for the first time the deposit is gone. We’ve been in the hotel for 11 months. I hope you will find it in your hears to support by donating. $pril40

Update.. Hi Tis the season for giving....hopefully my daughter and i will be on your list this Christmas Season. The community still has a home for us I'm still praying you all will donate and share. Unfortunately the longer we've stayed in the extended stay it's dwindled down our down payment money. We have got to raise the money so we can be in a home before Christmas. We can do this together with y'alls help.

UPDATE 10/18/2024 Still believing God will make this happen for us. I'm still in communications withe the community. Filling up fast but I'm not quitting. I stepped out on faith and that's where I'll stay, in conjunction to working. If you haven't donated please do so and ask your friends, family, co-workers etc. to donate.

My name is April and I'm a mom of one, now living in a new state. I need your help. I lost my job unexpectedly and my home. We didn't have a place to live and no one stepped in, on time to assist. I started asking for assistance November 2023. My lease wouldn't be renewed. After my daughter and I lost our home in May 2024  we enrolled in School in a more affordable state and we were forced to move a few months early. I hadn't secured a place yet. We have been put up in an extended stay. It has been some scary nights here put prayer and Gods hedge of protection has us covered. The Hotel is getting super busy. I've been looking for a permanent place to live since June, but I haven't found a descent affordable place to live closest to the school in here. I've met with landlords (unlivable conditions), spoken to Real Estate agents (never show up or return calls). I'm trying my best to keep us safe and unharmed. Through a friend I found a "Manufactured Home" and it's $80,000. I have a down payment... (Praise God) and the community where this home is said that they would fund my loan. Well the day I was supposed to find out how much my mortgage would be etc. The financial institution said they wouldn't be able to take a risk with me because I don't have a regular 9-5 corporate job. (Gig-Worker) I'm not sure why I went through all that because it was on the application from the beginning. They can do it if I have a co-signer, well I don't have a co-signer and I don't have a support system. I know that God called us to here for my daughter can be a cosmetologist and I'll finally get my Manicurist License to work for ourselves. But also thrive in ministry. A lot of our belongings were stolen and most of my inventory was stolen and we still drove three days to get to here because we trust God's plan. We have a tiny support system, but God is making sure we are safe. I'm asking 15,000 of you to donate $5 so my daughter and I don't end up completely homeless. I put a $1,000 down on the house to hold it for 14 days as of yesterday now it's 13 days. That $1,000 came from a Sister in Christ who knows our story and sees me fighting and walking by faith. This state has astronomical Admin fees $150 to $200 plus $80 per applicant. The apartment or home is not guaranteed approval and you don't get your money back. I'm tapped out. My credit is fine, down payment is great and I can't use last years W-2's. Can you please find it in your hearts to help us buy this home so we can have a safe clean place to live. I thought I only had until Saturday September 28, 2024 to purchase this home. The community is still being built. I still have a chance. I know $80,000 is a lot for one person but a whole bunch of you out there donating together can keep us from being homeless. I trust that God will touch your hearts. We have a new church home here, and our new members class isn't until next month. I know many will say go to them, but we are new and I'm asking the MASSES to step in and give a little to equal a lot together. No clothes, no furniture, no pots and pans but I'm still trusting that God will provide everything. I'm your grateful sister in Christ.
