Video he explains the poverty on his liveHi, My name is Rahmatullah, and I am humbly reaching out to you to help honor the legacy of Ali Reza Asahi, a celebrated Afghan bodybuilder and a source of immense pride for our nation.
Ali Reza Asahi was born in 1973 and rose to international acclaim, winning gold medals at the World Bodybuilding Championships in 2023 and 2024 in the Masters category. His unparalleled dedication and success brought hope and pride to Afghanistan, inspiring countless young athletes amidst challenging circumstances.
Tragically, on January 23, 2025, Ali Reza passed away in Kabul at the age of 49, after battling an undisclosed illness. His untimely death is a profound loss to Afghanistan’s athletic community, leaving behind not just a void in sports but a family struggling to cope with heartbreaking realities.
Ali Reza faced significant economic hardships during his life. Despite his international achievements, he lived a life of sacrifice, often unable to afford the same modest meals—like chicken breast—for his two young sons, Kaihan and Arman. Asahi’s children, who are just beginning their lives, now face an uncertain future without their father.
We are raising funds to provide immediate financial relief to Ali Reza’s family, especially to support the education and well-being of his children. Every contribution will directly reach his wife and children in Afghanistan to ensure they have the means to live with dignity and continue the legacy of this extraordinary man.
Your support can make a meaningful difference in the lives of this family who gave us a hero to celebrate. Please join us in honoring Ali Reza Asahi by standing with his family during this difficult time.
This fund will be transferred to Asahi's wife - Asifa Asahi via Western union/Money Gram.
Thank you for your generosity and compassion.
Every donation counts.
