Hello, my name is Adham, and I am from Gaza City, in the southern part of the Strip. My family and I lived through a brutal war and genocide. Our area was completely deprived of food and medicine, and we suffered from an ongoing blockade that lasted a year and four months. A three-phase ceasefire was recently announced to halt the violence, and we are now working to rebuild our lives as they were before the war. This includes rebuilding Gaza and repairing the damage, not only physically (although necessary), but also emotionally.
The war left deep scars from the fear, hunger, and displacement we endured. These wounds will take a long time to heal. Despite all this, we strive to rebuild our lives, no matter the challenges. We believe that hope remains and that the good in people will never fade.
This belief inspired us to create this link to improve our living conditions and repair the damage to our home. The broken windows and cracks in the walls made living there extremely difficult, especially in the bitter cold. This visible damage is a constant reminder of the difficult times we went through during the war.
Every donation, no matter how small, will make a profound difference. It is not just financial support, but a message of love and solidarity that tells us that we are not alone in this difficult journey. Together, we can overcome this ordeal, rebuild what the Israeli war machine has destroyed, and revive hope in our hearts and the hearts of those around us.
