Hey! My name is Róisín and I am organising funds for the people of Aclaí Palestine.

Aclaí is situated in the West Bank and is a part of The Lajee community centre.

The gym works directly with the people of the “Aida refugee camp” just outside Bethlehem, helping to upskill the people of the camp and bring a bit of light into their lives, living under illegal military occupation.

I spent some time in Aclaí last year and got to witness first hand what daily living was like living under occupation and how the spirit of the Palestinians is truly unbreakable.

I got to witness how people came through the gym and community centre and how much of a positive effect the centre is having on the people of Aida. Men, women & children.

For this fundraising event, I have teamed together with multiple swim communities across Ireland and we will be having a national dip for Palestine on Sunday 24th March 2024. It’s going to be huge!

Help us in reaching our target which will massively contribute to keeping the gym up and running during these incredibly difficult times.
