Hi , my name is Trevor Harrison. Each year, my niece puts on a Christmas concert of junior school children. The choir consists of 7 to 11 year olds. The school is in Heanor, Derbyshire, and for obvious reasons, I cannot put photographs of the choir on here or any social media (so you got a picture of myself and wife Janet instead). Any child can join the choir, irrespective of ability. Practicing is an after school voluntary activity. Concerts in the past have been to a really high standard, and may I add, very entertaining. The concert is usually attended by around 150 people, family and school dignitaries.

This year , there are 40 children in the choir. The concert is on December 12th 2025.

Myself and my wife sponsor the concert ( license, refreshments for children and audience etc). We like to give all the children a gift after the concert, and also a donation to the choir funds. I'm looking to raise some money to help us with this. Some of these children come from underprivileged backgrounds, and it would be lovely to see their happy smiling faces after the event with a small gift and token of appreciation for all the hard work that goes into the concert.
