Hello, my name is Sara Cruz. My husband Armando and I are retired and moved to Mexico to take care of my elderly mother of 101 years and to look after my husband's parents who both sadly passed away in 2022 and 2023 in Jalisco, Mexico.

During our time here in Jalisco, we met a family who are living in poor conditions. Their home is made up of mostly tarps and it is barely being held together. The family consists of Jose Antonio, the father, his wife, 2 teenage girls and a 9 year old son. They all currently share the same room.

Both parents are hard workers but only make enough to take care of their family and haven’t been able to build decent housing.

One of the daughters suffers from Tourettes Syndrome and her treatments and medication have also impacted the family financially.

My family and I have decided that we’re going to help them build a dignified home in their and are looking for help from our friends and family to meet our financial goal of $12,000 USD to help with construction and building costs. Any donation you could help out with will be deeply appreciated and help a family live a better life.

Hola, mi nombre es Sara Cruz. Mi esposo Armando y yo estamos jubilados y nos mudamos a México para cuidar de mi madre anciana de 101 años y atender a los padres de mi esposo, quienes lamentablemente fallecieron en 2022 y 2023 en Jalisco, México.

Durante nuestro tiempo aquí en Jalisco, conocimos a una familia que vive en condiciones precarias. Su hogar está compuesto principalmente de lonas y apenas se sostiene en pie. La familia está formada por José Antonio, el padre, su esposa, 2 hijas adolescentes y un niño de 9 años. Todos comparten actualmente la misma habitación. Ambos padres son trabajadores incansables, pero solo ganan lo suficiente para mantener a su familia y no han podido construir una vivienda decente.

Una de las hijas sufre del Síndrome de Tourette, y su tratamiento y medicamentos también han afectado económicamente a la familia.

Mi familia y yo hemos decidido ayudarles a construir una vivienda digna en su terreno y estamos buscando ayuda de nuestros amigos y familiares para alcanzar nuestra meta financiera de $12,000 USD para cubrir los costos de construcción. Cualquier donación que puedas aportar será profundamente apreciada y ayudará a esta familia a tener una vida mejor.
