Donate to Hays County Food Bank Today

We are Texas State Business students raising money and awareness for the Hays County Food banks new program, Van Go. Food insecurity affects thousands of individuals and families right here in our community. Hays County Food Bank works tirelessly to provide nutritious meals to those in need, but they can’t do it alone.

Many clients report having limited kitchen access due to homelessness, staying with friends, or living out of a hotel. With the new Van Go program, there will be better ability to increase our outreach to individuals with limited kitchen access by adding a mobile pantry. Van Go is an extension of the Go Bag program, which currently supplies unhoused clients in San Marcos with a weekly bag of food. These bags are filled with easy-to-open foods like pop-top tuna and fruit cups that don't need to be cooked but still offer protein-rich, easy meals and snacks. The Van Go mobile pantry will expand our reach by offering Go Bags to clients in Buda and Kyle each week. "
