Help A Foster Family get a House to Call Home
Donation protected
Have you ever wanted to make a difference for foster kids but can't take in kids yourself? Here's a great opportunity!
Hello, my name is Sarah Thompson. I'm writing this on behalf of my dear friend Anna. I met Anna in 2011, when we were serving at the same church. We grew close to the point that she moved in with my family for 2 years as my husband and I were actively doing foster care.
I'm raising funds to help her purchase her first home and provide more space for her 5 foster kids.
Anna's passion to do foster care and to serve others grew so much that she became a foster mom, even while being single. Anna has been able to adopt 2 of the kids so far, become the legal guardian of another, and has 2 more that are long-term foster kids. The positive impact Anna has had on these kids has been profound. As Anna serves these kids (and, through them, the community) she is helping the world be a better, kinder, more loving place. They have been living humbly in a single-wide mobile home and, as their family grows in years and number, it's gotten a bit cramped. There's a home that would better accommodate them that has opened up near her and she qualifies for a loan that she can afford but needs help to provide the down payment.
Anna is someone who gives and gives. Will you please join me in blessing her by helping her afford a more fitting home for these beautiful kids? Let's partner with Anna and together show these kids that they are loved, that they can have a house that is also Home, and that there are people out there who are willing to band together for the good of others.
All funds will first go toward the downpayment. Any giving beyond that will go toward moving costs. Thank you so much for considering and for helping out!
