Mother of five, my name is Adrean. I am hoping to raise funds for myself and four children to secure a rental home of our own.

After twelve abusive years of marriage, I am divorcing my husband. For five months, he has withheld my children from me. Through court and DCF action, I have been given full custody. We are currently living at a domestic violence shelter.

I work a part-time job, as well as having a business license for residential maintenance services. However, it is hard to get enough work without a safe place to house myself and children in order to obtain the necessary funds for move-in costs.
