HI! My name is Christine and this fundraiser is for my nephew, Keith. Recently, he was is a car accident that totaled his vehicle. The accident was a single car accident cause by heavy rain. He hit a pocket of water while driving on the interstate, lost control of the vehicle, and ended up in the trees. Unfortunately, he only had liability insurance so it was a total loss in every sense of the word. Additionally, Keith lives on a very modest income (disability) stemming from a very serious car accident he was in about 18 years ago when he was just 19. He was in a coma for weeks and in the hospital and rehab for months and never fully regained the use of the right side of his body, particularly his right arm and hand. Because of this he has not been able to work, except for the occasional part time job, so he does not have the means to replace his only means of transportation. That is where this fundraiser comes in and where you can help, if you feel so inclined. I am looking to raise enough money to buy him another reliable, used vehicle. A donation of any amount would be greatly appreciated. Every little bit helps!! It would also help, whether you can donate or not, if you could share this fundraiser so that others who would be willing and able to help can see it.

Although Keith is unable to work on a regular basis, he often used his vehicle to help others. Whether it was grocery shopping for his grandmother while she was still alive, going to pick up his brother to give him a needed ride to work, or helping a friend move, even taking his 6 year old cousin to tutoring every Tuesday after school, having a vehicle wasn't just a luxury it was a necessity. And living in an area with no public transportation will make it nearly impossible for him to ever leave the house if he cannot find a way to regain that mobility.

So I am asking for your help to get Keith back on the road.
