Meet Garfield and Samoy — Helping Families in Jamaica

Hello everyone,

We’re Garfield Anderson and Samoy Campbell, two Jamaicans now living in the United States who have been deeply affected by the devastation caused by Hurricane Melissa back home.

When we saw the heartbreaking damage — homes destroyed, families displaced, and children going without food or clean water — we knew we couldn’t just sit by and watch. These are our people, our families, and our communities.

We’ve started this relief effort to collect and send barrels of food, water, and essential supplies directly to families in need throughout Jamaica. We’re working hands-on — organizing, packing, and shipping these supplies ourselves to ensure that help gets to the right places quickly and honestly.

Every dollar raised goes directly toward purchasing food, hygiene items, and shipping costs for these relief barrels. No donation is too small — each bit of support helps someone eat, stay safe, and begin to rebuild.
