Donate to Food Bank For NYC: Help Feed Families

Hello all, today I am creating a GoFundMe to help raise money for a local food pantry in NYC. Food Bank For New York City was founded in 1983. They say, "Community by community, we work together to make progress on a more hopeful, dignified, and equitable future for ALL."

For our civic action project at school, focused around bringing awareness to issues in local communities. A major issue my group and I researched was the data on increasing wages compared to the cost of living in NYC. As you can all imagine, the cost of living in NYC has increased at an exponential rate while wages have not increased at such a rapid rate making harder to people to afford the cost for daily necessities. We are aiming to raise 1,500 dollars to donate to the Food Bank For New York City along with going and volunteering at the pantry. We would love to help make change and to allow society to progress in a positive direction. We would appreciate all the help we could get! Thank you and we hope you donate!
