My name is Maureen Burke!

I am creating a campaign to ask for your help to support some families, friends, neighbors, and strangers who have been impacted by the hurricane.

When I lay in bed at night, I can see some of these faces that I saw on the TV.

Their houses are all gone, no food, no clothing, and as I prayed for them, I wondered what I can do.

The funds will be used to buy goods for the barrels, such as dry food, canned foods, etc., and the fee to send off and receive it in Jamaica.

My sister told me every day they had to go early to buy some groceries before they finished.

No supermarket is open because of looting; they give them the groceries through a window.

My goal is to pack two dozen barrels with food, clothing, etc., to ship off to Jamaica to help my people.

It’s a lot of work and finance, but we were put on earth to help each other.

The plan is to have a family member and a couple of people from the church down there to distribute to the persons who badly need it.

Especially the mothers with children and elderly, because the government gets a lot of donations, but many people will not get the help.

So we have to do our part. Please help me to pack these BARRELS.

I need to put a lot of flashlights and batteries in them; many don’t have lights and are not sure when they will get back light.
