Donate to Felidae in Claire's Memory

In honor of Claire’s deep love for animals and nature, we are collecting donations to the Felidae Conservation Fund on her behalf. Claire was a lifelong advocate for animals and wildlife, devoted to both the housecats the deVroede’s rescued from Baener’s classroom and the mountain lions of the Bay Area. Her passion for habitat preservation and environmental stewardship was evident, she proudly volunteered with Felidae during high school, drawn to their mission of conserving wild cats and their ecosystems. By supporting this organization in Claire’s name, we continue her legacy in helping to protect these big cats and their homes.
