Hello everyone! My name is Sulaiminah Burns. I am raising funds to keep people fed during the ongoing government shutdown. Donations will be used to purchase groceries for families in need, to provide community meals, and to support initiatives that feed people in Broome County, New York.

Nearly 27% of Broome County residents receive SNAP benefits, which have been paused or reduced.

Many SNAP recipients are children, the elderly, and the disabled.
