Hi, my name is Ahmad Eldawi, and I’m a Sudanese college student based in the United States. I’m reaching out to raise urgent funds for hundreds of Sudanese civilians who have recently escaped the ongoing genocide in El Fasher. These families fled by bus to the city of El Obeid, where they are now struggling to survive with no consistent access to food or shelter.

My aunt leads a non-profit organization called Future For Us, which has been dedicated to empowering Sudanese youth for over eight years through education and vocational training. Since the war in Sudan began in April 2023—a conflict the United Nations has called the world’s worst humanitarian crisis—Future For Us has shifted its focus to providing life-saving food aid to families in Omdurman, Soba, and Burri. Most recently, the organization began supporting displaced families from El Fasher, delivering meals to those who managed to escape.

Right now, $800 is enough to feed 300 people one meal of bread and lentils. Every donation, no matter how small, directly helps families who have lost everything. Many have witnessed unimaginable violence—some have had relatives tortured, raped, or killed on their journey to safety.

I will personally deliver all funds through Bankak, Sudan’s mobile banking app, directly to the network of trusted volunteers on the ground who are distributing food to displaced families. This ensures that 100% of donations go straight to those in need—without intermediaries.
