Hey, I'm Ethan Harari, a multi-generational Angeleno.

On Sunday, April 13th, 2025, I will run the Mountain 2 Beach Half Marathon, which begins in nearby Oak Park and ends in Downtown Ventura. This race holds special significance for me because, a little over a year ago, I underwent Achilles repair surgery for a complete rupture I suffered during a soccer game. I have been recovering steadily since.

While I’m definitely not aiming for a personal best with this race, I’m using it as an opportunity to get back in the game and, more importantly, raise money for families affected by the devastating fires that have impacted our Los Angeles communities.

My goal is to raise $2,500 to provide direct support to 10 families affected by the fires. Each family will receive a prepaid Visa (or similar brand) gift card worth $250. These cards will give families the flexibility to purchase the items they consider most essential for their recovery efforts.

I will work with established distribution centers that have lists of vetted families in need of aid.

If we raise more than the initial goal, I’ll increase the donation target to help even more families!
