Donate to End Veteran Suicide with Kappa Sigma

At the Alpha-Kappa Chapter of Kappa Sigma, located at Cornell University, we are deeply committed to supporting those who have served our nation by taking a stand against veteran suicide.

According to the Department of Veterans Affairs, an estimated 17-22 veterans die by suicide every day. That’s one life lost every 65-85 minutes—totaling between 6,200 and 8,030 deaths annually, accounting for 18-20% of all suicides in the U.S. The most vulnerable groups are veterans aged 18-29 and those over 50.

Throughout the month of March, we will be organizing several fundraisers to raise awareness and funds for the National Alliance to End Veteran Suicide. Every dollar raised will go directly toward efforts to provide support, resources, and hope to veterans in need.

In addition to these fundraising events, we will be hosting a March Madness bracket challenge, where anyone can join to compete for a prize pool of $100, while all proceeds will go towards the National Alliance to End Veteran Suicide
