My name's LeeAundra, and my two children are Kyrie and Kylie. We have been battling homelessness for the past 3 years due to my car being stolen and losing my job, which resulted in us losing our home!

I finally got a call from the housing authority saying I came up on the waiting list after two years of waiting for an income-based apartment! The problem is they said I can't have the keys unless my light bill balance is at $0.00. The reason it's so high is when we lost our home, I had to break a payment arrangement when I turned the lights off to the apartment. I've paid $421.67 out of $1,330. I can't come up with any more, and I've been to every resource: social services, churches, the city, WellCare, and 211. No help because the bill is too old and not a disconnect.

I only have until September 2nd, 2025, before the keys go to the next person on the waiting list. Anything could help. Me and my babies miss having stability and a place to lay our heads!
