About Kate: After having witnessed someone close to her rise up from hardship thanks to community support and meaningful work, Kate was inspired to give this same chance to others facing hardship.

Sprouts Chef’s Training provides youth with culinary job training and coaching so that they themselves can reach their potential and land their very first job in the restaurant industry.

As they work alongside acclaimed chefs in the Bay Area and NYC, these aspiring Sprouts chefs learn the value of service, community, and honing a craft.

Kate is a visionary, bad-ass business woman, and inspires me every day to reach for the stars ✨
