Hello, my name is Nicole, and I’m a single mom of four amazing kids. I’m currently in school, working hard to create a better future for my family. For the past two years, I’ve been without a car, and it has been one of the hardest challenges I’ve faced.

Everyday life—something as simple as going to the grocery store or getting my kids to their activities—has become a struggle. My son plays football and my youngest daughter cheers, and while I’m so proud of them, getting them to practices and games means relying on the kindness of friends who drive across town to help. I’m beyond grateful for the love and support we’ve received, but it weighs heavy on me to constantly depend on others for basic things that most families take for granted.

I finally have an opportunity to purchase a reliable car, but I need $3,500 to make it happen. This car would mean everything to us—it would allow me to get to my kids school quickly in case of an emergency, allow me to get them back and forth to their activities, run errands, and simply be there for my children without the stress and worry of arranging rides.
