This foundation was created in loving memory of Gabriella "Bella" Hope Patterson who ended her 6-year battle with cancer at the age of 16.

Through all of Bella’s challenges, she always found ways to carry that message forward, to turn hope into action, and to light up any room with her contagious spirit and kindness.

Through Bella’s journey, she encountered individuals and strangers whose random acts of kindness moved her and motivated her to do the same for others.

What We Do

When random acts of kindness happen, they may seem small in the moment, but they ripple outward, breaking through the chaos to spark light, inspire connection, and prove that compassion still has power. One kind act can shift a day, change a life, or even restore someone’s belief in good.

Bella’s Hope Foundation looks for individuals who have demonstrated these acts of kindness and in return provides scholarships and grants for their selfless acts.
