- A lot of people who see this will probably already know my name and will also know the reason for this!!! But for those who don't, my name is Moriah. I am a widower. My late husband's name was John. I myself have been receiving survivor's benefits since his passing in 2020. So far, I've been doing okay. But within the past 2 months, they have put my payments on hold with the reason being I made too much money this year. Mind you, I've been at the same job I was at when he passed. I could go on about it, but I won't. I am still able to pay most of my bills, but it takes all I have, including anything I had saved, with no extra money at all. I am in the process of getting my benefits back, but school is coming up faster than the process it takes to get them back. I have no clue how I'm going to buy school clothes for my daughter Emma. She is 13 and seems like she's grown a mile in such a short few months. I've never had to ask for this type of help since he passed away, until now. And if it wasn't for this unfortunate timing, I probably wouldn't be asking now. She is very worried about this, and it's very unfair to her. She deserves the world!!! And as a 13-year-old going back to school, her world is all about school clothes right now. So please!!! Anything helps. Anything raised will go to her. I will be happy to provide you with receipts after purchasing her clothes.
