Hello everyone, my name is Ekaterina Hilliard, and I need your help this thanks-giving season.

This year has been so very difficult for many individuals and families alike. The start of November, a month that focuses heavily on the thanksgiving meal as well as being thankful and kind is also the month in which many people and families will have to make some very difficult decisions in order to survive.

I had the idea of hosting a thanksgiving dinner for food insecure families at my daughter’s school and I would love your help. I can’t imagine how difficult this holiday season will be for many families in our community and nobody should have to choose between a roof over their heads, clothes on their backs or food in their belly. I know that a thanksgiving meal is something that most of us are planning out in great detail and my thought was to extend my family table in order to include the families in need at my daughter’s school. I can’t imagine how many difficult decisions and sacrifices many parents are having to make this holiday season in order to survive. In order for me to make a thanksgiving meal for this may people I will need your help. I know that your kindness will be greatly appreciated by so many.

I am also coming up with a list of items that I am accepting for donation and it will be available shortly.

Let us all come together and do what we can to help.
