Hi, our names are Amanda and Hannah, and we are reaching out on behalf of our family during one of the hardest times we’ve ever faced.

Our dad, step-dad, papa, Scott, has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, which has aggressively spread to his ribs and spine. This devastating news has completely shaken our world. Scott is more than just a step-dad—he’s a devoted father, papa, and the kind of man who always shows up for others, including his 93-year-old father who he lovingly cares for every day. He has been a loving husband, an incredible father and step-father, and the best papa to 13 grandkids who absolutely adore him.

Now, it’s our turn to show up for him. To give him even a fraction of what he’s given to all of us.

Our mom, Kathy, is heartbroken. We all are. Watching someone you love fight for their life is something you can never truly prepare for. But we’re doing our best to stay strong, to be hopeful, and to fight alongside Scott in every way we can. Unfortunately, the medical expenses are overwhelming—treatments, medications, appointments, and all the unknowns that come with a diagnosis like this are adding up faster than we can manage.
