Recently, my Aunt Rima suffered a sudden, tragic, life-changing event. Eric, her husband (my uncle), was killed while crossing the street, struck by a driver in a Chevy Tahoe.

Eric was the sole provider of the household. His monthly income provided for all of their household finances. There is no life insurance or any other investment assets that she can draw upon. The funeral costs and daily living expenses are weighing heavily on her shoulders. She is a senior citizen, retired, with only social security as her source of income.

We’re working to raise some funds from our community to assist her with covering the cost of the funeral and 2 months of living expenses.
