Donate to Ease Rhonda's Cancer Struggle

My name is Val, and I am raising money for my sister Rhonda Rasmussen, who has Stage 4 Lung Cancer. She is only 63 years old. She has two grown boys and three grandkids. My sister ended up being a single mom, not by choice, and worked and raised her two boys all on her own. She did nothing but work and raise her boys. She gave everything she had to them. At age 62, she was suddenly laid off from her longtime job, then unemployment, then let go with no call back. And of course, with losing her job, she lost her healthcare. She made the decision to take early retirement and applied for Social Security. That’s when she found out she had cancer. She had employment benefits all her life, and at the most crucial time in her life, she has none. So of course, we started some medical things without insurance, which we really had to fight for because without insurance, no one will help you. We had some community help, and then finally, she was disabled and was able to get state insurance, which is still a struggle. What I am asking for is to help my Sis Rhonda with medical bills before she was able to get insurance. I love my sister and don’t want her to lose what little she has. Thank you.
