Ease Pietra's Final Days

Dear Friends, Family, and Generous Supporters,

Today, our family has some saddening news to share with you. For those of you that do not yet know, our amazing auntie, mother and wife, Pietra, has recently gotten very ill. We found out today she is battling what we feared the most, a rare and fatal disease, Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease. Now that it is confirmed, this fatal disease will only leave us with just weeks and if we’re lucky, months, to spend with her. This diagnosis has turned our world upside down. Leaving our entire family in shock and disbelief.

Pietra is an endeared wife to Angel and loving mother to a heavenly angel, Serena (forever 16), and two children here on earth, Maya (16) and Vida (10).

Those that know Pietra, know her love for her family, especially her girls is everything to her. Everything she does and lives for, is for them. Her lighthearted humor, her will to keep going, even after she faced the tragic loss of her first love, Serena, and yet she is now facing another tragic battle of her lifetime and needs our help.

The financial burden of medical bills and living expenses weighs heavily on Pietra and Angel’s shoulders. The costs of care and upcoming funeral costs during this time is daunting and will overwhelm the family during this already challenging time. As Pietra focuses on living with this aggressive disease until she is reunited with our heavenly angel, Serena, support is needed to ensure their family's basic needs are met.
