Update-On 9/26/25, my mom passed away. She fought for nearly a year, and it finally took her from us. This is now for funeral services and getting her bills and debts taken care of. I miss you so much mom.

Hello, my name is Michael, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to seek your support for my mom, who has recently been diagnosed with liver cancer. This news has hit us like a ton of bricks. Throughout her life, she has bravely faced numerous health challenges, including a mechanical heart valve and multiple abdominal surgeries, but she has always remained a fighter.

For 20 years, my mom dedicated her life to working in a hospital's intensive care unit, providing comfort and support to patients and their families during their hardest moments. Even as her own health struggles mounted, she never allowed them to deter her commitment to her work and her patients. Two years ago, doctors discovered a mass on her liver; thankfully, a biopsy showed it was benign. However, she continued to experience pain yet persevered, fueled by her love for helping others.

Sadly, last year, her employer forced her out of her job, leaving her without health insurance and support. This was a devastating blow, and her health has since deteriorated rapidly. A recent biopsy has confirmed that the mass has turned malignant. Due to its size and her existing health complications, surgery is not a viable option. Instead, her doctors plan to utilize a targeted procedure involving radiation directly on the tumor, followed by chemotherapy. While this treatment carries significant risks—especially given her need for blood thinners—it is our best chance for her recovery.

Watching my mom, a woman who has given so much to others, now struggle in this way is truly heartbreaking. She requires constant care, and the medical expenses are quickly becoming overwhelming. We are reaching out for help, and I humbly ask for your support during this challenging time.
