My names Julian Sosa. I’m raising money for my Mom Lucy Garcia. On September 11th of 2024 , in preparation an unrelated medical surgery, my mom found out she had almost stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer. Being HERS 2 positive , the cancer was starting to spread pretty fast so the next day she was admitted to start chemotherapy. After months of chemo , many horrible side effects later, she was able to get a bilateral mastectomy surgery. Some lymph nodes were tested showing she still had 1-2% cancer still. Thinking she was in the clear, she learned she needed more chemotherapy and doses of radiation. With the radiation complete, she’s still receiving chemo until December.

Growing up my whole life , I've always had a single mom. One person doing everything they fan to support me, my older brother, and herself. Life comes with nothing but hardships but my mom did everything in her power to make sure we survived with food on the table and clothes on our back. Up until my mom found out she had cancer, she was working two jobs just to survive and make ends meet in this horrid economy. With bills piling up, rent, and everything else. My mom was not sure how to continue survive on medical leave. She has resorted to continuing one job with no option left to continue the second despite her tiredness and recovery. I hope to raise enough money where my mom can have some sort of financial backing without having to physically push and work herself so hard and be able to leave the second job (which is also currently giving her issues of returning). My mom would give the shirt off her back for any person , even a stranger as long as it meant she was helping someone in need. Im hoping she could be granted the same in return in our time of need.
