I’d like you to meet an amazing family from Cookeville, Tennessee, that is fighting an evil monster - cancer.

Doug and Lisa Poston were married 7 years ago, and together they share a big and beautiful family, including 6 children: Kyle, 23; Sara, 22; Sayrah, 17; Aryan, 11; Abel, 9; and Savannah, 4, as well as 5 grandchildren. It was about that same time that Doug began his first battle with stage 2 cancer. He and his family fought back through surgery and the doctor’s care to regain control of his health. Although he worked many years in law enforcement and the automotive industry, he would not be able to continue to provide for his family.

Unfortunately, in March of this year, he was again hospitalized and diagnosed with stage 4 cancer that has metastasized to his liver, spleen, and abdominal cavity. He has since endured 11 rounds of chemotherapy and countless hospitalizations. Due to his treatments, his body has been weakened, and hospice has been called in to support his needs.
