Dear friends and family,

We are reaching out to you during a critical time for our family. Don has recently undergone two major surgeries—both a Kidney Transplant and a Heart Transplant. While we are incredibly grateful that these life-saving procedures have taken place, the road to recovery is long.

Don is 67 years young. He is a Loving Husband, Father, Step Father and Papa. He was a member of the Boonville Pirates 1974 State Championship Football team, and they was entered into the Missouri State Sports Hall Of Fame in 2020. He enjoys being outdoors and spending time with Family. Don has dealt Many years with medical problems with his Heart and then His Kidneys, which dramatically changed his life. After years, He was put on the Transplant list in July of 2024 to hopefully get a Heart and Kidney. They received a Miracle, when they got the call that he would be getting a double Transplant. Wednesday, October 2nd he received his new Heart and the Kidney on October 3rd.

Due to his medical condition, Don faced numerous challenges leading up to these surgeries, including The cost of his medical treatments, medications, and the recovery process can be overwhelming. They have been in Kansas City for over a Month Now. In addition to medical expenses, there may be costs for [transportation, home care, or any other support services he may need].
