My name is Derrick I am a devoted single father who has been raising and providing for my children, my 6-year-old daughter, who’s been in my care for over 5 years, and my 13-year-old son, who’s been with me for over 11 years. Now, I’m fighting a custody battle to keep my family together and could use your support to cover legal fees.

As many of you know, being a single parent is a demanding role, but it’s one I have embraced fully. From helping with homework, doctor appointments, to attending school events, to supporting their extracurricular activities, I am fully invested in my children’s growth and happiness. In addition to my responsibilities at work and as a volunteer coach, I make sure my children’s needs are met and that they feel loved and supported every day.
