Hi, my name is Dawne’a Sanders—stylist, mentor, and the proud owner of Vanity Vault, a newly opened salon right here in Baltimore. ‍

This year has been a whirlwind—after years of hustling, learning, and pouring into my clients, I finally opened the doors to my own salon. Vanity Vault isn’t just a beauty space—it’s a place of transformation, confidence, and community.

But my journey doesn’t stop at the salon chair.

By day, I also work in Baltimore City Public Schools, where I see firsthand how much our kids are up against. Many of them are doing their best to show up, learn, and dream big—despite lacking the basic things they need to feel confident and prepared for the school year.

That’s why I’m asking for your help.

I’m hosting a Back-to-School Giveaway on August 10th before I cut the ribbon.

My goal is to bless 50+ students with:

• Free hair services (styles, cuts, braids)

• Backpacks + school supplies

• Personal hygiene kits

• Snacks + small treats

• Words of encouragement to send them off right ✨

This event is coming straight from the heart—and while I’m giving all I can, I know we can do so much more together.
