Hi, my name is Daniel Challburg and I am suffering from a incapacitating lower back injury from working in plumbing trades. I am a journeyman plumber with U.A. Local#343. I started feeling my disability in December of 2023. I reported my injury to my supervisor with an x-ray from my health provider, which is when my supervisor then instructed me to take some time off work before the Christmas holiday to try and get better. It is now October 19th, 2025 and I have not been able to return to work. I currently am trying to get Social Security Disability in California but they keep telling me that they are backed up. I have pulled a lump sum from my retirement to live off of but that money is vanishing fast every month. I need financial help! My wife works full time as a DUI Councelor but her money will not cover everything, since I've been disabled. I used to be the bread-winner and now all I can do is pray that I get better. I do physical therapy almost everyday and it usually only works when I'm using my pain medication. I went through a spinal cord stimulation trial on October 8th thru October 15th. The surgeon took the stimulation device out and now I'm experiencing severe pain levels again. I am getting a permanent spinal cord stimulation surgery in the future but am waiting for the surgeon to set the date up. Will you please help my family out financially during my difficult time. I have never asked for this type of help before and if and when I get better I would like to pay it forward for someone who needs help like I do. God bless
