Donate to Create Baby Kits for Refugee Families

Seattle Immigrant Rights Action Group is raising funds to create hygiene kits for babies! They will be given to Lutheran Community Services Northwest to distribute to refugee families they are assisting in their relocation to the United States. Federal money for this is getting scant and we are happy to try and fill the gap, at least a little bit.

We have done this work for years, creating kits for immigrant detainees and most recently, for these same families. But those kits were for children and adults, with really nothing for infants. These kits will fill that gap. They will include necessities like diapers, baby bottles, pacifiers, wipes, shampoo and lotion, blankets, socks, and bibs. Each kit should cost about $41 (babies are expensive!) and we hope to make 36 kits.
