Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out with a very heavy heart to ask for help covering the cost of the emergency care that saved my beloved cat, Sherman.
Sherman is a 4-year-old Ragdoll who is truly the sweetest boy in the world. He’s the kind of cat who turns “I’m not a cat person” people into lifelong cat lovers. He’s hilarious, cuddly, and gentle, with a perfect Cindy Crawford-style beauty mark on his face that makes everyone smile.
Sherman started having terrifying breathing episodes. He stopped eating, stopped drinking, didn’t want to play, and was visibly struggling to breathe.
I rushed him to Angell Animal Medical Center ER, where they immediately put him on oxygen. The vets ran a full workup: X-rays, ultrasound, bloodwork. We found his lungs were filled with fluid, and had to be hospitalized for 5 days on oxygen to survive.
The total cost of Sherman’s emergency care is over $10,000, which I simply cannot afford on my own.
I’m humbly asking for help covering this bill so I can continue to care for him without being financially wiped out. Every single dollar truly makes a difference, whether it’s $5 or $500.
If we are lucky enough to meet this goal, I will be donating $500 to the Angell ER Animal Shelter Fund, to help other pets in emergency situations get life-saving treatment.
