<div>I’m reaching out with a very heavy heart to ask for help covering the cost of the emergency care that saved my beloved cat, Sherman.

<div>Sherman is a 4-year-old Ragdoll who is truly the sweetest boy in the world. He’s the kind of cat who turns “I’m not a cat person” people into lifelong cat lovers. He’s hilarious, cuddly, and gentle, with a perfect Cindy Crawford-style beauty mark on his face that makes everyone smile.

<div>Sherman started having terrifying breathing episodes. He stopped eating, stopped drinking, didn’t want to play, and was visibly struggling to breathe.

<div>I rushed him to Angell Animal Medical Center ER, where they immediately put him on oxygen. The vets ran a full workup: X-rays, ultrasound, bloodwork.  We found his lungs were filled with fluid, and had to be hospitalized for 5 days on oxygen to survive.

<div>The total cost of Sherman’s emergency care is over $10,000, which I simply cannot afford on my own.
</div>

<div>I’m humbly asking for help covering this bill so I can continue to care for him without being financially wiped out. Every single dollar truly makes a difference, whether it’s $5 or $500.

<div>If we are lucky enough to meet this goal, I will be donating $500 to the Angell ER Animal Shelter Fund, to help other pets in emergency situations get life-saving treatment.
