Dear friends,

Graham recently resigned from his job as a philosophy professor at a US military service academy in protest of changes to its academic program initiated by the Trump administration. The good news is that he has a job starting in September. The bad news is (surprise!) health insurance. For the next two months we won't have access to the same coverage we were used to.

We just learned that we are facing $6,000 dollars in unexpected health care expenses right now. These costs enable Summer and our daughter to receive vital care. Our daughter has many unique medical needs including, but not only, treatment for her ongoing 3-year battle with Long-COVID. Summer requires an expensive medication for an auto-immune condition. Without help, we won't be able to pay our bills.
