Hello, my name is Colby Scott, and I am working towards my Eagle Scout Rank in Troop 159 in Hewitt, New Jersey. I have been in scouting ever since I was 4 years old and it is a huge part of my life. As I step closer to accomplishing the final goal of my scouting career, I wanted my project to incorporate another big part of my life, that being baseball. So for my project I want there to be proper signage and a nice seating area within the parking lot of West Milford’s Kilgallen Field, which is the field for the West Milford Baseball Team (as well as the Field Hockey Team). Kilgallen Field is set back from Nosenzo Pond Rd, and is surrounded by woods, with this it is nearly impossible to see the field from the road, and visiting teams and families have a very difficult time trying to locate the field.

There will be a sign on the road directing drivers into the parking lot, as well as signs by the pathway entering the field itself. In addition to the signs, I want to build a patio with two picnic tables near the entrance of the field as it will provide a safe and visible place for students and athletes to sit, especially if they are waiting for a parent to pick them up.
